CEZA Attracts Strong Investment Leads at Major Livestock and Aquaculture Event
The Cagayan Economic Zone Authority (CEZA) made a compelling case for its “Land and Sea” investment potential during the Livestock and Aquaculture Expo 2025, held from June 25-27, 2025, at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.
Representing CEZA Administrator and Chief Executive Officer Sec. Katrina Ponce Enrile, the Authority’s Marketing and Investment Promotion team engaged with local and foreign exhibitors, firmly positioning the Cagayan Special Economic Zone and Freeport as a high-potential hub for livestock and aquaculture ventures.
CEZA’s active presence and strategic messaging attracted strong interest from major industry players. Several investors expressed clear intent to explore opportunities in aquaculture feed manufacturing, intensive shrimp and eel farming, smart agriculture, import-export logistics, and research and development within the Freeport Zone.
What resonated with potential partners was CEZA’s unique combination of natural marine wealth, business-friendly policies, and ongoing infrastructure upgrades, all of which reinforce its value proposition for agriculture and aquaculture investments.
“This turnout and level of engagement at the Expo reinforces CEZA’s role as a viable hub for agriculture and aquaculture investments in Northern Philippines, and we are optimistic about the partnerships that will emerge from this event,” said Sec. Enrile.
CEZA is now moving forward with targeted follow-ups to convert these leads into real investments, aligned with its mission to drive inclusive and sustainable economic growth in the Cagayan Freeport Zone.
