CEZA Champions Employee Well-being
As part of CEZA’s 30th anniversary, a fitness session promoted employee health with tips on staying active and exercising at work.
As part of its 30th Founding Anniversary, CEZA dedicated February 26, 2025, to CEZA Employees’ Day, a celebration of its workforce’s well-being. Employees from NCR and Cagayan participated in a mental wellness seminar, fitness training, nutrition talk, free eye check-ups, a bloodletting drive, and an employee social.
Secretary Katrina Ponce Enrile, CEZA Administrator and Chief Executive Officer, emphasized that employees are the backbone of the organization, making it essential for CEZA to fully support their well-being. With this in mind, CEZA Employees’ Day was carefully designed to support employees’ physical, mental, social, and emotional health.
Prioritizing Physical & Mental HealthCEZA’s Mental Wellness Seminar featured Dr. Precious Vanessa Roque, MD, who discussed workplace mental health, stress management, and ways to break the stigma surrounding mental health. She emphasized that open conversations create a supportive environment where employees feel safe seeking help.
A fitness session led by Coach Fammyrose Tallafer, CTC, encouraged employees to stay active despite sedentary work. This was followed by CEZA’s first-ever nutrition seminar with John Eric B. Sulit, RND, who shared insights on balanced diets and healthy eating habits to boost productivity.
Recognizing the impact of screen time, CEZA partnered with Five Optics Clinic to provide free eye check-ups and specialized computer glasses to prevent vision-related issues.
These initiatives benefit both employees and CEZA by reducing healthcare costs, minimizing absenteeism, and improving workplace efficiency.
A Culture of Giving: Bloodletting DriveBloodletting at CEZA’s Cagayan and NCR offices yielded 101 successful donors from employees, locators, and partner agencies.
In collaboration with the Philippine Red Cross, CEZA’s annual blood donation drive collected 101 successful donations from employees, locators, and partner agencies—highlighting CEZA’s commitment to corporate social responsibility.
Fostering Camaraderie & Work-Life BalanceThe day ended with an employee social organized by the Association of CEZA Employees (ACE), fostering teamwork and camaraderie. The event raised ₱79,882.30 for ACE, supporting future employee initiatives.
CEZA Administrator and CEO Sec. Katrina Ponce Enrile affirmed: “By investing in the well-being of our employees, we are not only supporting their individual health but also strengthening the overall productivity and morale of our organization. We look forward to making Employees’ Day an annual tradition and fostering an even healthier future together.”
